Taylor\u2019s artworks in the Tulsa, Oklahoma home of his son and daughter-in-<a trains.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The opportunity to see a broader range of Norman\u2019s work through this website has just increased my appreciation for this versatile and talented artist.\u00a0 I was delighted by the personal notes and cards he illustrated over the years for his grandchildren, from humorous to sweet to beautiful \u2013 what a legacy!\u00a0 One of my loves is original prints, and Norman\u2019s woodcuts, especially from the 1930s, are exquisite, with reference to the formal definition: \u201cin the sense of rare excellence of production or execution, as works of art or <a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/normantaylorgallery.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/1.-St-Michaels-Mount-Cornwall-1990s.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" Norman\u2019s paintings of English towns and countryside \u2013 my favorites are scenes of Cornwall \u2013 evoke a nostalgia, even in someone like me who has never visited.\u00a0 Through his paintings, I am there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Most of us hope to pass through our lives with industry and success, but few of us are able to leave much of real substance to mark our
